Andrey Launov is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent (Canterbury, UK). He holds a PhD degree from the University of Munich. Has also studied at the Institute for Advanced Studies (Vienna) and the Odessa State University of Economics, where he has received his Master's degree. Andrey's main research interests include microeconometrics and labour economics, with particular focus on structural econometric evaluation of public policies and quantification of the models of labour force dynamics. He is equally interested in a set of topics in development (especially informality) and population economics.
