Hanan Nazier is an associate professor at the Economics Department, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. She received her Ph.D. in Economics, in November 2009 at Cairo University under the direction of Professor Ahmed Ghoniem. She was a visiting scholar in Hamburg University in Germany during June 2013 and at Georgia State University-Atlanta- USA during July 2011-August 2011. During the spring semester of 2014, he was a visiting scholar at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, Minnesota University, working under the supervision of Professor Ragui Assaad. She is a member of various economic institutions like the Economic and Administrative Research Council, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. Her research interest is applied micro-econometrics, on gender and labor issues in Egypt and developing countries in general. She has published her research articles in different international peer-reviewed journals, including Middle East Development Journal, Middle Eastern Finance and Economics Journal, Advances in Management and Applied Economics, International Research Journal of Finance and Economics, and European Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Science.
