Full Professor of Economic History at the Department of Economics of Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, where he teaches Economic History, Business and Financial History and Evolution of Capitalism, Technologies and Finance. He holds tenure for the course in Economic and Business History at the Department of Business and Management of Luiss “Guido Carli” University. He also taught at other Universities, both in Italy and abroad. He is part of the staff of prestigious academies and national research centres, as well as a member of the scientific and editorial boards for several academic journals. He has received several international awards for his study and research activities. Prof. Lepore has published monographs and essays, both in Italy and abroad, on the economic history of both Spain and Italy, as well as on business history and on the theory and the history of economic thought. Most recently, besides the history of Euro-Atlantic economy, his research fields concern historical and economic tools and methods, as well as the evolution of the Italian economic dualism and the strategies for the development of Southern Italy.
