Christian Siegel is a Senior Lecturer in Macroeconomics and a Deputy Director of the Macroeconomics, Growth and History Centre at the University of Kent. He is a CEPR research affiliate (MG), and a fellow of GLO and of ROA. He holds a Diplom from the University of Mannheim, as well as a MRes and a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests lie in the intersection of macroeconomics, especially economic growth, and labour economics. His work has been published in leading international journals, including the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, the Review of Economic Dynamics, Labour Economics, and the Journal of Demographic Economics.
