I am a Research Economist at the European Commission - Joint Research Centre, Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation (CC-ME). Before joining the Commission in 2015, I was a Visiting Scholar and Lecturer at the Economics Department of Boston University where I taught courses on empirical economics. From 2012 to 2014 I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Ca' Foscari Venice, where I worked on different projects related to the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE).
I hold a Ph.D in Econometrics and Empirical Economics from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" and a MSc in Economics from the University of Bologna.
My research interests lie in the area of applied micro-econometrics and impact evaluation with a special focus on labour economics, economics of education and migration.
