He is working as faculty at Delhi School of Economics (University of Delhi)in India. Earlier, he did PhD (Economics) from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and M.Phil (Development Economics) from IGIDR Mumbai. His research interests are in development economic, economic growth, gender (in)equality, and civil conflict. His work is published at Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Land Economics, and Economics Letter.
