Sisi Zhang has been an Associate Professor at the Institute for Economic and Social Research, Jinan University (China).

Her research focuses on income volatility, wealth inequality, and how a housing boom affects labor market outcomes.

Before joining Jinan University, she worked at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Fannie Mae, Urban Institute, and IMPAQ International.

She received her PhD in Economics from Boston College.
