Utteeyo Dasgupta is an Associate Professor of Economics at Fordham University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Arizona, an M.A. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a B.A. in Economics from Delhi University.
He is a Behavioral Economist with research interests in the positive, normative, and strategic aspects of decision making. He primarily uses economics experiments and game theory. His scholarly work has been published in the Journal of European Economic Association, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics, Journal of Economic Psychology, World Development, and other peer-reviewed journals.
He serves as an Associate Editor for Economic Inquiry and Studies in Microeconomics.
He is also affiliated with the Institute for the Study of Labour (IZA), Bonn, Germany as a Research Fellow and the Center for International Studies and Policy, Fordham University as a Senior Research Associate.
