I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Barcelona, where I am a member of CREB and BEAT. I am a research network affiliate of the CESifo, a fellow of the Global Labor Organization, and a board member of the Armenian Economic Association. My current research interests span from industrial organization topics to macroeconomics. My research primarily focuses on issues related to economic growth, knowledge and human capital accumulation, innovation and competition, and the economic impact of information and communication technologies.
