I am an applied microeconomist focusing on topics at the intersection of environmental economics, resource economics, and development economics. Currently, I am working at Arizona State University as a Dean's Post Doctoral Researcher and a fellow at the Global Labor Organisation. In Fall 2025, I will join as an Assistant Professor at Muskingum University, Ohio.
In my research, I look for empirical evidence of environmental and weather shocks on various economic outcomes such as labor, income, agricultural resources, and health.
I completed my Ph.D. in Economics and MS in Economics from the School of Economics, Georgia Institute of Technology. I received an undergraduate degree from Mumbai University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India.
