Zachary Porreca is a postdoctoral fellow at Bocconi University. He completed his PhD in Economics at West Virginia University in 2023. He is an applied microeconomist with interests in crime, corruption, law, and emergent institutions. His recent work focuses on the interaction between violence, illicit markets, and the urban environment.
