Joined the School of Geography and the Environment in October 2018 as an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow. He completed his PhD at the London School of Economics and Political Science, supported by the Economic and Social Research Council. Before joining Oxford, Harry worked as a Lecturer in Human Geography at the University of the West of England (2017-2018), teaching various topics in social and urban geography, including urban change in the Global South, migration, youth and ageing, and qualitative methods.

Harry's research interests encompass the emotional geographies of contemporary capitalism, using ethnographic methods and a contextual focus on Egypt and the Gulf.
