Jayash Paudel is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Oklahoma and a Fellow at the Global Labor Organization. His primary research interests are in the fields of Environmental and Development Economics. Jayash's research delves into how economic agents adjust to changes in their environment, which in turn have an impact on both economic welfare and environmental quality. His research also involves an evaluation of economic channels that directly or indirectly affect natural resources and the environment. His work has appeared in journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Land Economics, Energy Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics and World Development. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Boise State University from 2019 to 2022.
