I am a PhD candidate at Kiel University and research associate at the Chair of Public Finance with a special interest in Experimental Labor Economics, focusing on questions of labor demand and unemployment. Labor economics faces several challenges like self-selection, unobservable heterogeneity as well as unclear causality, which can not be solved by econometrics alone. My aim is to gain a deeper insight into the matching process to improve our knowledge about discrimination, labor market regulation and public policy.
