How to submit your paper?

Members of the GLO Network are invited to submit their papers (no field restrictions) to the GLO Discussion Paper (DP) Series. The well-prepared manuscripts ready for upload should be sent to DP@glabor.org in PDF format with a standard cover page including author names, affiliations (adding GLO where appropriate), abstract, keywords and JEL codes. The cover email should contain a link to your bio on the GLO website identifying your membership.

Please note

  • Any opinions expressed in the GLO Discussion Paper Series are those of the author(s) and not those of the GLO and while they may contain specific views on policy, the GLO itself does not take any institutional policy positions.
  • Once online, manuscripts can no longer be replaced. In case of significant revisions, authors may provide the manuscript once as a revised version and/or as a pre-publication version, if applicable. The new versions will have the same DP number online, but will be marked as [rev] or [pre].
  • Manuscripts cannot be removed from the website, but all authors are invited to provide the exact reference after publication so that we can add it to the DP page on the GLO website. Please provide the information in the following format:

  • Discussion Papers are an essential part of the academic process and a responsibility of researchers to validate their research in communication with the scientific community and to document their claims on the originality of their research.
  • Discussion Papers are preprints and are not considered “published”. See for instance Springer Preprint Sharing.
