David R. Agrawal is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Irvine. He is Editor-in-Chief of International Tax and Public Finance and he serves on the editorial boards of the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, the National Tax Journal, and Regional Science and Urban Economics. David's primary field of research is public finance - with an emphasis on taxation. David's research agenda focuses on theoretical and empirical models of: tax competition, the mobility of people, employment, and firms in response to taxes, and the taxation of goods and services. His work has appeared in the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, the Annual Review of Economics, The Economic Journal, Journal of Economic Literature, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Urban Economics, and Review of Economics and Statistics.
