Gil S. Epstein is a Professor of Economics and the Sir Isaac Wolfson Chair in Economics at the Department of Economics and is currently Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Bar-Ilan University, Israel.

Gil is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Population Economics and is an Associate Editor for Economics.

Gil has published in Journals such as European Economic Review, Management Science, Journal of Development Economics, Public Choice, Social Choice and Welfare and Journal of Public Economics.

Research interests: Labor Economics, Political Economy, Public Choice, Migration and Public Policy.
