Juan Carlos Campaña has a PhD in Economics from the University of Zaragoza (Spain). Currently he works as an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Applied Economics and Public Management at the National Distance Education University (UNED) in Madrid/Spain. His main areas of research are household and population economics, with specific interests in gender differences in the time devoted to paid work, housework and childcare. His works have been published in several journals, including Feminist Economics, Journal of Development Studies, and Latin American Economic Review.
