Miguel Leon-Ledesma is professor of Economics at the School of Economics, University of Kent. His research spans the areas of macroeconomics and economic growth, with special focus on the distributional effects of technology. Author of more than 50 academic papers, his research has appeared in outlets such as The American Economic Review, American Economic Journal:Macroeconomics, Journal of the European Economic Association, and The Review of Economic Studies. Miguel has served as external consultant for the European Central Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. He is the Director of the Macroeconomics, Growth, and History Centre (MaGHiC) at the University of Kent. He is also a Research fellow of CEPR and external Fellow at NIESR.
