I am an Applied Microeconomist, and my research interests are at the intersection of health, education, the economics of households, gender, violence and labor. Primarily, my research focuses on these issues in developing countries. I am also interested in research questions related to how government policies and socio-economic conditions affect household and individual decisions; and whether such policies are effective at alleviating poverty, inequality and discrimination.
I did my PhD in Economics from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. I am an Associate Professor at O. P. Jindal Global University, Haryana which is a premier private university in India. I teach courses on Econometrics and Statistics to undergraduate and graduate students.
