Mihails Hazans is a professor of econometrics at the University of Latvia, the Global Labor Organization fellow, IZA research fellow and research associate at the Baltic International Centre for Economic Policy Studies. His main research fields are migration, ethnic minorities, human capital, teleworking and informal employment. He contributed chapters to books published by Springer (3), Ashgate, Edward Elgar, and OECD Publishing, as well as articles in academic journals such as Economica, Empirica, Labour: Review of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations, and the Journal of Population Economics.
