Sandipa is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She completed her Ph.D. in Economics from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York in May 2023. Her research expertise lies in the domain of Applied Microeconomics, focusing on Development, Labor, Health, and Public Economics. Sandipa's work explores various aspects of the economics of education, labor, health, social influence, gender, and human capital acquisitions, with an emphasis on evaluating public policies for inclusive and pro-poor economic growth. She studies pressing economic issues and challenges by analyzing observational data and utilizing contemporary econometric techniques. She is a GLO Virtual Young Scholar in the 2023-24 cohort.
