Shu Cai is a Professor of Economics at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (IESR), Jinan University. He is a Research Fellow of the Global Labor Organization (GLO) and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Population Economics. His research spans development economics, labor economics, health economics, and applied microeconometrics, with ongoing projects investigating internal migration, household finance, and healthy aging in China.
