I am an Applied Microeconomist working in the field of labor, education, development and political economy. I am particularly interested in evaluating public policies in developing countries and estimate welfare consequences of such policies. I did my PhD in Economics from the University of Houston in the area of development economics.
I am a part of the Business Environment Group at the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow which is a premier b-school of the country and I teach Managerial Economics and Behavioral Economics to MBA students. Apart from this I also teach Policy Evaluation Techniques and Labor and Education Economics to Doctoral students.
I do consultancy in the area of education and policy interventions and also teach several modules in training programmes for executives as part of the Management Development Programmes.
