Sudipa is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Research, University of Warwick. Previously, she has been a Marie Curie PhD Fellow associated with tan Initial Training Network funded by European Commission and has completed her PhD from the Department of Applied Economics, University of Salamanca, Spain. Her thesis, 'Essays in Labour Economics', focuses on over-education, job polarization and wage inequality, and women’s employment transition. Sudipa has previously worked in several research organisations including the Young Lives project (led by Oxford University), Institute of Rural Management Anand and Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi.

Her research interests are broadly in empirical Labour and Development economics with a focus on education and skills, future of work, poverty and inequality, and gender.

Her research has been published in peer reviewed journals, including World Development, Development and Change and International Journal of Manpower.
