I am a Research Fellow at the Migration Policy Centre of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, where I am affiliated with the MIGMOBS project (ERC AdG).

My research interests lie in the intersections of migration, mobility, inequality, labor, culture, policy, and identity. I conduct theory-based, empirical research using econometric and experimental methods.

Previously, I was a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Econometrics, and Finance of the University of Groningen (NL), where I obtained my University Teaching Qualification. I hold a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Groningen as well as MA and BA degrees in Philosophy and Economics from the University Bayreuth (DE).
