The Australian Gender Economics Workshop (AGEW) 2027 invites submissions until November 1, 2026

Perth, 10-12 February 2027: The Australian Gender Economics Workshop 2027 will be hosted by the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (CEVAW) and the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Curtin University in partnership with Women in Economics Network (WEN). Location: Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia.

Special Session

AGEW includes special sessions on the Economics of Violence Against Women, co-organised with CEVAW (Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence against Women), GLO (Global Labor Organization), and the Journal of Population Economics (JOPE). These sessions are organised in the context of JOPE’s “Sexual and Domestic Violence” article collection.

Please indicate in your submission if you’d like your paper considered for these sessions. Submission to the JOPE collection after the workshop is optional and subject to standard peer review.
